What I do not understand is why people can never be happy with what they already have on the phone as far as ringtones go. It’s as if they are being driven to constantly improve on what already exists; not that this is necessarily a bad thing, of course. But there is such a thing as going overboard in the pursuit of the latest technology. I do have to say this though on the subject of  free cell phone ring tones ; it is extremely nice if you are able to get a clip of your favorite song and use that as your ringtone. That is like waking up to your favorite song on the radio every morning. I guess that I do understand the desire for all of the new cellular ring tones that are out there these days.

Some people would rather have a customized ringtone on their phone instead of that plain old ring-ring sound that we all got used to a long time ago when the telephone first came part of our lives. As they always say, the market is driven by what people want. When enough people started asking their wireless providers for more and more available  free cell phone ring tones , those companies and many others responded by coming up with a wider choice of songs and sounds that were available as ringtones. The only thing that people might not be aware of as far as these new ringtones go is that they are not free! If you are going to use your wireless carrier as your source for those ringtone downloads then you had better check with them first to find out exactly how much each ringtone will cost you to download. The cost of these little extras is what many people don’t really think about when they are asking for and using them.
